This is a blend of two plots, both officially in Mazis-Bas, but one high up at the northern-end, the other by the Route des Grands Crus further south. Trying the components separately, I was particularly excited by the upper plot. The blend has possibly a darker colour than either on its own. The strawberries of the southern plot have darkened, but they fill out the palate around the backbone of the north, and the slightly fresher raspberry fruit also emerges more at the back. Drink from 2032-2040. Tasted Nov 2024. Score - 95-97.
