The 2020 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a terse, stony, austere bouquet whose neutrality I quite admire. The palate is well balanced with a twist of sour lemon on the entry, moderate weight with a patina of white chocolate towards the finish. Not bad, though it just misses some mineralité towards the finish. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis. Drink date 2023-2032.
