Mélinon is a member of the Racine Gamay group, which also includes well-known producers such as Sylvain Tête. Mélinon's Chastys cuvée is produced from vines that were planted in 1941, on sandy/granite soils facing to the southeast. Fruit 80% destemmed and vinified with natural yeasts.
