This is a boys' love novel set in the omegaverse. Despite being the son of a dominant omega and a recessive alpha, Casey never manifested as either an omega or alpha, which leaves him as a beta. Betas are the dominating secondary sex, but having grown up among his parents and the Cade family, all of which are made up of alphas and omegas, he can't help but feel utterly alone in the world. After the Cade family moves away, separating him from his crush, the eldest son and alpha of the Cade family, Levi, Casey tries to take advantage and move on from his old first love and his own feelings of inadequacies. Years pass, but Casey still can't seem to put out the torch he carries for the little alpha he fell in love with as a child. Much to his surprise, he ends up running into Levi, and he's all the dominant alpha that Casey knew he would be. To his surprise, though, he also runs into the second son, third child, and first dominant omega child of the Cade family: Gabriel.
