His hometown is Onicha Ugbo in the Delta State, Nigeria. He attended Hope Waddell Training Institution, Calabar, Federal School of Science, Lagos, University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria and Pan Africa Bible Seminary, Accra, Ghana. He is married and has four children.
