This volume discusses the political economy of energy transition in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region. Viewed through the lens of emerging progressive movements with energy at the forefront, the book explores how so-called Energia Progresiva can act as a driving force to address climate challenges, foster sustainable development, and ease the transition to a knowledge-based economy, setting the course for the future of Latin America and the Caribbean.
