English is weird! follows a young girl who is learning to read. As she flips the pages of her book, she meets pirates, a fairy, mermaids, and more. She also encounters silent letters, similar words that don't rhyme, different-looking words that do rhyme, and many of the challenges of the English language. Throughout her journey, her family members are by her side to help with tips and encouragement.
