Enlightened darkness is the story of Joseph, a young child born in the South Sudan during its bloodiest conflicts. A refugee from birth onwards, Joseph, and his family, narrowly escape death time and time again. Their story, and those of most South Sudanese, is one of loss, and the power of hope while living under the most unfortunate circumstances.
