Julia is finally marrying her long term boyfriend Nathaniel La Caz. Unfortunately when she arrives at her grandparents' mansion to ask for their blessing she discovers that her grandmother has been murdered and her grandfather has vanished. From then her whole life begins to crumble. Due to her father being the inspector at the police station he is not allowed to deal with his mother's murder case, however he insists in being part of the investigation. Julia knows that she needs to take the matters into her own hands and find out what's happened to her grandmother and clear the Taylor family name. On top of that she has to deal with her psycho ex-boyfriend who still wants his revenge. While Julia is trying to juggle her own mystery-filled investigation, royal fairies and a threatening letter, her future husband starts to act like he has been possessed.
