Seeking the positives in a pandemic...When the world shut down in March 2020, Author Anne Spry shut down emotionally...until she had the time to really notice and appreciate hersurroundings. She began taking photos of sunsets, sunrises, clouds, and flowers. Poetry flowed out of her soul when she saw what the camerahad captured. The result was a new gratefulness for the many blessings she suddenly found. Despite the new isolation brought by the pandemic, despite no longer being able to hug her grandchildren and read them a book, she was not alone. She had writing, photography, friends she could call, and Facebook friends who were all hungry to connect on an even deeper level than before the pandemic. Like everyone else, she scrambled to learn new technologies that would keep her connected virtually. Additionally, and even more importantly, she learned how to be truly still, long enough to notice the world of nature and the beauty all around her. Now she is sharing her inspirations in hopes that this perspective on a largely negative era in our history will result in more universal gratitude and hope.
