This story is about a frog named Fred that is personified to represent our youth today. He represents everyone who is bullied and ridiculed because of their financial status, physical attributes including personal appearance or being handicapped, health issues such as diabetes, or family issues, i.e. being adopted or homeless. He has low self-esteem because of his physical appearance, the clothes that he wears, and because he is not a member of the "in-crowd." This book tells of the trials and tribulations of Fred and how he turned to God for help. It is a story of "Finding It" which could mean finding one's self-esteem, true friends, the place that makes one happy, true love, or God. The meaning is different for everyone, but the message is clear: life will get better by learning to endure and making plans to change your life. That is what Fred did and he is now very happy!
