"Fires Burn Blue" is a collection of brilliant ghost and mystic stories penned by the British colonial administrator and writer Sir Andrew Caldecott. Most of his stories are set in rural areas of Britain and pertain to the charm of local spirit and subtle irony. Although, there are also stories inspired by his service as a governor of Hong Kong, taking place in the fictional country Kongea, created by Caldecott from his impressions in Asia.
