Aell is free and retired from arena fights, but is unfamiliar with the treacherous streets full of thieves. Stiles, looking for an easy mark, spots Aell's purse being taken. With a reward flashing in his mind, Stiles steps in to rescue Aell's life savings. However, Commander Harnolt's arrival on the scene throws everything into disarray. Aell and Stiles become embroiled in a running battle against their common enemy through Mesnick's streets and manage to forge a friendship in the chaos.
