When Olive was born, her mother died; and her father has been punishing her for that ever since! As if that isn't enough for any sixteen year old to deal with Olive struggles spiritually, mentally, emotionally and relationally because of her lack of a loving mother and father relationship to emulate. Olive tries and fails miserably to be loved by men. So much so that she ends up completely giving up on her life, and the promise that her mother made for her life before she died. She has been tried and tested so much over the years that she no longer wants to have anything to do with God. With a new name and identity Olive sets out to live a life of normality. Will she be able to put her past behind her and get the happily ever after that she thinks she deserves? Or will she learn the hard way that when God has his hands on your life there is absolutely nothing you can do to break free?
