"Forget Me Nearly" is set in a future where memory erasure technology is readily available. The protagonist, a man named Joe, decides to undergo the procedure to forget a painful breakup with his girlfriend, Sally. However, due to a mix-up at the memory clinic, Joe's memory is only partially erased. He wakes up believing that he is still in love with Sally but cannot remember why they broke up.As Joe tries to navigate his confusing feelings and understand what went wrong in his relationship, he discovers that Sally is now engaged to another man. Determined to win her back, Joe embarks on a series of comedic misadventures, including attempts to sabotage Sally's wedding and win her affections once again.
