John Helgeson is an ordained pastor who has served interim positions in Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Illinois, as well as installed positions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. He has presented portions of this book to interim colleagues and the Interim Ministry Network's annual conference. I have been an interim minister and what is called a regular, installed minister. Without a doubt in my mind, I say that the interim minister has much more freedom than a regular, installed minister.
