This is a very fine boned, tender but quite intensely flavoured sauvignon from a vineyard in the Maldonado region not far from the cool Atlantic coast of Uruguay. There are some tropical, guava notes, along with fennel, lemon-lime and mint. The alcohol here is only 12.5% delivering the freshness, accentuated by a touch of C02.
