The First Team of the Rocky Mountain Base has its work cut out for it. And Peter, a hand to hand and melee expert, has decided to add to that work by taking on the protection of another resident. Pet, Candle's ex and a very toxic woman apparently has a best friend, and that woman is in desperate need of being liberated from Pet's violent and manipulative hold. Or at least that's what he told himself when he forced his way into her life. Demiana now has two stalkers. The woman who she hasn't truly been friends with since childhood, Pet, a woman who for some reason refuses to leave her alone. And now a soldier who is bound determined to destroy her calm, if not her whole entire life. Unfortunately for Demiana, the commitment phobic Peter is entirely too charming and despite her resistance, he quickly wriggles his way into her life and takes over her world. And then, he completely implodes it, leaving her burning in the wreckage.
