Emine was once considered a hero in her kingdom, but everything changes when she refuses to carry out a task for the king. The king then turns everyone against her, causing Emine to leave the kingdom. On her way out, she encounters her arch-nemesis, Amaris. While observing Amaris, Emine notices that she is playing and reading to the poor children of the kingdom. This catches Emine's attention and leads her to question everything she has been told.
