The book Hey, Mrs. Milkjugs was inspired by the satirical writing of Go the F* to sleep. It also was inspired by the first month of her daughter's life, when Maria was coping with breastfeeding. She loved breastfeeding, but it was incredibly challenging, as it kept her and her husband up at night and at times was painful and messy. She hopes this book will console new parents.
