Hidden Secrets explores the powerful truth that some secrets are better left untold but others, when shared, can change lives. Drawing from real-life experiences, the story reveals how growing up with hidden pain can shape who we become, and how breaking the silence can make a difference in someone else’s life. Through its heartfelt message, the book encourages readers to seek safety, trust, and support, reminding them that there are always people willing to listen and help. About the Author Rebecca Venegas was born in Juarez, Mexico, and came to the United States with her three brothers and three sisters when she was five years old. She attended Garfield High School in East Los Angeles and is the proud mother of two daughters and five sons. Outside of writing, Rebecca loves basketball and swimming, so much so that as a teenager, lifeguards at Belvedere Park affectionately nicknamed her “Mermaid” for her ability to stay underwater for long stretches of time. Her life experiences and deep compassion for others inspire her storytelling and her desire to help readers find strength and hope through her words.
