Jennie Ruth Lemieux is taking a few day off from her counseling job in Pendleton, Oregon to visit her father in California. On her driving trip at night through the backroads of Eastern Oregon and the Steens Wilderness Mountains, she disappears, seemingly into thin air, and then reappears a week later with a fantastic story of alien abduction.
