In doing so, she must reconcile with the ghosts of her past—and a pain she can't shake. In a modern realism piece called "We Unlearn Behaviors, Breaking Generational Traumas," Trish is a young mother grappling with grief and corporate pressure, navigating her world as a black woman seeking balance, healing, and hope—with the help of her compassionate therapist. BD Miller is a novelist who focuses on romance, fantasy, historical fiction, grief, and LGBTQ+ themes. He is currently enrolled at Full Sail University for a Bachelor of Science in creative writing, and his short story, "A Hidden Jewel," was published in Pussei* Magazine.
