In this enlightening book, Elder Hawkins is proving where we are today in 2017 based on scripture. Also that those who are alive at the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will have to endure the tribulation period and will not be taken out. The intention is to communicate that it is not so much about the end-times because it is more about now, preparing right-now for the time to come. The word in Mark 11:13-14, 20-21 tell us that Jesus came to the fig tree and found nothing but leaves. He cursed it although it was out of season to produce figs. The next morning, Peter could not understand why Jesus cursed and dried up the fig tree. The message is that we must always be fruitful because we never know when Jesus is coming.
