This blend of 85% Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot spent six months in casks before being transferred to variously toasted French oak barriques for a further six months' ageing. The wine is crafted with food in mind, and the dark fruit, spice and herbal tones will be a fine match for lamb shoulder with rosemary and thyme.[Luca Maroni tasting note not available.] Score - 91.
