Gorgeous purple colour in the glass. Fragrant on the nose, purple flowers and cherry fruit. Intense, ripe blackcurrants and blueberries, concentrated but cool at the same time. Quite tannic but really fruit forward and a little fleshy too which balances out, underpinned by crunchy acidity that gives a real bite on the finish. Nice structure. I like this and think the frame will soften over ageing. Crunchy, bright and focussed. Lovely salty grip! Sleek but well worked. 2% Cabernet Franc completes the blend. Ageing 6% amphora, 28% new oak. 3.62pH. No chaptalisation. Densimetric sorter to remove the unripe grapes. Drinking window: 2026-2038.
