This wine is a blend of NOTL fruit with the debut vintage of Gamay from the cool Lincoln Lakeshore Senchuk Vineyard. It shows ripe blackberry, cherry, evocative earth, spice and herbs. The warm growing season created some extra weight in the mouth, but the acidity and balance are so finely accomplished there's no loss of typicity or poise.
