Although Eileen Pardys was famous in her own right, being among the group of psychic store owners in acclaimed New Hope, Pennsylvania, she considered writing a book to be a crowning achievement of one's life. This book has been her very own creation, but it also has been a joint effort of many others who helped bring the book to its completion in her 83rd year including her son, and others in her adopted home, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The drawings are based on a young Eileen dressed up in her prettiest girly-girl outfit at the age of eight or nine in the mid 1940's. She delightfully wanders through Lemuria as a stranger in a strange land and the lessons she learns leave her smarter and more mature.
