Born in a Vancouver flop house to a drug-addicted mother and a criminal father, no one expects Tim Davis to amount to much. After his father, Ed, is sent to the Kingston Penitentiary for murder, Tim is forcibly removed from his mother''s home, and is put through years of failed adoptions and foster families that leave him bitter, angry, and ready to explode.
A tumultuous series of crimes, unsolved murders, and death threats cause the jagged paths of Tim''s and Ed''s lives to cross once more-but will this reunion bring healing, or just more pain?
