The 2013 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru la Dominode has a slightly deeper color than the Clos des Guettes. The nose is much more closed at the moment, although this is typical at this stage. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, plenty of red and black fruit intermingled with a harmonious, supple finish that bodes well for the future. This may merit a higher score once in bottle because it possesses impressive density. Drink date: 2017-2027. Score - 90-92.
