Lucky Me is a candid and delightful romp through my life as a California girl; escaping an abusive childhood and morphing into the colorful and exciting Bohemian world of 1960s San Francisco where life in a commune dedicated to Art and Entertainment informs a life-long mind set. Chance encounters and a free-stylin' lover brings me to Marin County, the Sausalito water-front, and the infamous Trident restaurant where I meet, and surprisingly, tumble into love affairs with some of the fabulously famous celebrities that frequented that spectacular venue. Years later I marry the owner, Nick Reynolds, of Kingston Trio fame and fortune. Nick and I raise cattle and children on our picturesque Elk River Ranch in the rural countryside of Oregon. My children and I are some of the very few people who know the real Nick Reynolds outside of his media driven celebrity persona which misses the mark on a quite remarkable man. Tribulations bring us back to California and Nick back to the Trio for another ten years on the road while I raise our children, discover myself and the marvelous things I can do. Metaphysical journeys and mind boggling experiences play out as my beautiful family grows up and out on their own. Now a grandmother of four, I have chronicled our history for them, and for you, to enjoy. It is an intimate and very human story of love, passion, humor, betrayal and redemption. This is my story and it's a darn good one. Includes over 200 family photos.
