From a structured and grueling Catholic School in Upstate New York, to the freewheeling public schools of Southern California, it is the story of liberation, adjustment, decline, then the final rise of a young person trying to figure things out. It is the story of a pioneering young adult, being the first of his family to graduate college, handling the trials and tribulations of a young marriage and far-from-smooth career path.
