This series for ages 8 and up proposes a motivating, enjoyable approach to mathematics, to demolish clichés and encourage a positive attitude toward the world of numbers. The approach adopted is based on play: acquiring mathematics while having fun. Each topic is made real in an activity book and a game box. These can be purchased and used independently: they will have a distinct context and topics suitable for specific ages. The proposals in the activity books are introduced by stories that enable the children to link mathematics exercises to a concrete situation, albeit an imagined “reality”. Furthermore, the narrative approach stimulates children's curiosity and motivation. The topics are presented gradually and intuitively. In addition, there are simple do-it-yourself ideas, to carry out with material that is either easily found or else included in the book. They encourage learning through play, in order to develop children's creativity and manipulative skills.
