This is a two part book dealing with the only two sermons I have given in my life, both dealing with personal experiences and observations. The first "Miracles--Maybe? deals with a time in my life (57 to 72) when one good deed led to a series of happenings and events that I could not fully understand or explain. All I could do is shake my head and say or think "Lord you did it again". The Hispanics who were a large part of the story still remain my very dear friends. The second (Where Have All The Churches Gone) started about 50 years ago when on a trip to Sweden my good Swedish friend, Bjorn Wahlstrom and I made a bet of a dollar in front of a number of his influential Swedish buddies as witnesses. He made this statement "in a hundred years the United States will be just like Sweden--only a few old people will be left to practice Christianity." I took him up on that bet, even though neither of us would be alive to settle the bet. He died last year, and as we enter the half way point I am afraid he might be winning, but there is still time. This book is my feeble attempt to keep Christianity alive and well and get others to "keep the fire burning".. "Bjorn, nothing would make me happier than if you and I make it to heaven and we meet again in 50 years and you have to pay me the dollar."
