Evenutally, it was fought in Houston in 1967. Ali fought Canadian fighter George Chuvalo instead of Terrell. Ernie Terrell was a Chicago boxer who was notoriously controlled by the Mafia. His manager, Bernard Glickman, was closely associated with fight promoter/Lucchese syndicate soldier Frankie Carbo.
