This book is designed to help children as well as parents cope with the passing of a young person. The death of a child is traumatic, and death is a difficult subject to explain to children. Sometimes they don't understand the feelings they are experiencing. I have based this story in Christian beliefs, and I hope it can assist parents with talking to their children about the subject. When a child looses a peer, it can be difficult for them to understand, and to cope with the pain. I hope Sara and Lily's story can help to explain, and help lessen the pain and heartache of loss.
