About 1 in 3 Canadians, or 9.1 million people, will experience a mental illness during their lifetime. Mental illness can be very isolating in that sometimes we can feel like we are the only ones who are struggling. Through poems and journal entries, I wanted to share my personal journey of self-love and compassion in the hopes that I might help someone else understand that they are not alone.
