Everybody has a story to tell, even if they're a 'nobody'. This one begins in 1943, when Britian was on its knees during the middle of World War II. Food was rationed, life was about survival, and there wasn't much joy in the world. But there was adventure to be had for a young urchin who could get into and out of trouble with a quick with and quicker pair of legs. In the early fifties, this 'awkward arse' was packed up and sailed halfway around the world to Australia, where he grew into a street-savvy larrikin with Brylcreemed hair and a cheeky grin. At that age, it was all about girls, cars, and partying.
