Dear Parent / Guardian / Teacher: This book was created to put the term 'Typical' in a different light for my son who was born with Down Syndrome, Congenital Heart Disease and Cerebral Palsy - and his peers (He hears this term during our medical appointments as a frame of reference that he is compared to). My hope is that it generates a conversation around the idea that we are more alike than we are different!
