The 2024 Olivier is endowed with one of the better sets of aromatics this year, with attractive black fruit, black olive and light estuarine scents (even though it is not in proximity!). The palate is mediumbodied with pliant tannins, gentle grip and a little more weight on the back end, leading to a composed and quite persistent finish. The 2024 is classic in style and maybe a bit dry for some, but I like the cut of its jib. Drinking window: 2028-2048.
