When I became a Christian, I learned how to lean and depend on God, the call from Ver'mon's best friend on October 26th 2015 that said "Mrs. Steve Monie (as he is affectionately known) is missing and I think something bad has happened." At that moment I knew I needed God. At a love seat in a quiet place in our home was where I felt like I could breathe, where I felt I was being held, by the only Person that could hold me. My inspiration for writing this book, was realizing in the middle of my STORM, that God was keeping me. He had allowed me to find my position of comfort and held me like only He could.
