My life as a librarian in the Glasswing library was nothing but peaceful until he arrived. Cove Evaw, the guy everyone liked back in high school. He wasn't part of any group, despite that, his popularity rivalled no other. It's been three years since I'd last seen him. He attended college in another city while I stayed here in Mardi Town. Coming back, he suddenly showed interest towards me. Sorry to say Cove but it isn't reciprocate. I'm fine on my own and with the countless books I have access to.To shake him off my tail, I make a proposition, or should I say; I threw him a challenge. One he wouldn't refuse in fear of hurting his pride. I make him a reading list for the summer and he has until the end of his break to read all the books. Doing so, I'll have my precious time back. What I didn't see coming was his counter proposition. He'd read the books on my list if I went on a couple of dates with him. He calls them dates; I call them friendly outings. In the end, will he turn into a bookworm as I am-leaving me alone in the process-or will it be counterproductive and I end up catching feelings for my old crush?
