Penelope was nominated to participate in her school's first national spelling bee. All of Penelope's friends, Humphrey, Patty, Spider, Bee, Ant, Mr. Jefferies and Grasshopper were expected to be there. As Penelope entered her school, she was greeted by Butterfly who desperately needed help going over her flashcards before the spelling bee. Penelope gladly helped her knowing that she had to go over her own flashcards. After a string of events, time was running out. Would Penelope be able to win the spelling bee? Or would her kindness cost her? Penelope would soon find out what being kind truly means.
For the past 20 years, Sandra worked with adults with developmental disabilities. She resides in Holley N.Y. with her husband Mike and enjoys cross-country traveling on their motorcycle, reading, and making people laugh.
