"It was the year of 1950 when I was born in Chania, Greece. I don’t quite remember much of my earliest childhood. It was most likely because of my brother Basil who used to abuse me quite a lot,which is why my memory decided to block a few events. However, when I was four years old I started noticing that my sense of smell has heightened than in most people, and I enjoyed the beautiful smells that surrounded me every day. There was the smell of lavender in my family’s house, the vanilla perfume of my mother, the neighborhood that was glowing with fresh grass and honey combs."
