This book gathers outstanding papers on numerical modeling in Civil Engineering (Volume 1) as part of the 2-volume proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Numerical Modeling in Engineering (NME 2021), which was held in Ghent, Belgium, on 24-25 August 2021.
