Across several hospitals in Québec, patients die without any apparent cause. The deaths are initially blamed on malfunctioning medical equipment. Joshua McCade, an expert in information technologies, is asked to analyze the suspected devices. His diagnosis reveals the failures are far from accidental. Aurélia Wagner soon realizes that someone is exploiting hospital systems to cause death without leaving visible traces.
