Red Sky: Recollections of the International Hotel details how key forces, including the tenants, Filipino student activists, and diverse allies from throughout the Bay Area, converged to protest and resist eviction for nearly a decade. Although elderly I-Hotel residents eventually suffered the indignity and trauma of eviction in the middle of the night, they and their supporters remained determined to struggle against corporate interests.
