Use Rit DyeMore to color 100% polyester, poly/cotton blends, acrylic, acetate, nylon and even some plastics. One 7‑oz bottle dyes about 1 lb of dry polyester or ~2 lb of nylon, acetate or acrylic. Ideal for rejuvenating garments, coordinating décor or creating custom ombré, dip‑dye, shibori and tie‑dye looks. For best results, heat dye in a stainless‑steel pot on the stovetop to maintain a high water temperature; not for use in washing machines.
