Marsee Chenzira has survived leviathans, coups, and kidnappings on the Water World, but now she must return home and face the biggest monster of them all — herself. The rot that has infested the Consortium has been exposed, and no one has been spared. The Consortium is in an uproar, with half the people horrified by the crimes uncovered, while many believe that it is nothing more than a cover-up of epic proportions, as people find out about Marsee's illness and the lengths that Saber has gone to, to eradicate any sign of it.
