At first Scarlett thought the only thing she had to worry about was finding her way around campus and coping with the homesickness as she moved across the country to attend college. However, it didn't take long for her life to be turned upside down. Her roommate Vivien is extremely insistent that Scarlett go out and have fun, even though the two girls have different ideas of what fun means. Not only that, but she finds herself the target of Alexander's (a.k.a. "tall dark and Italian") interest. Everyone else is impressed by his looks and charm. Everyone but Scarlett, who sees him as a womanizing jerk. At least until tragic events make her wonder, is there more to Alex than there seemes or was she right all along?
